Thanks for the Memories!

One thing our family decided to do a few years ago was to make memories instead of giving gifts. 2019 has already opened doors to many opportunities. I have recently retired from doing hair to focus on my travel business and my personalized shirt business. A dream turned reality! I will be home more so I can spend more time with my family.

This past weekend, I was slightly under the weather all while working on some crafting with the kids, quoting vacations and finishing up some shirts for some customers. As bad as I felt, we made some amazing memories. We made our travel journals and talked about places we would like to see while on our family adventure. And then – there was dancing…..

My girls have enjoyed watching Dance Moms lately (I know-it’s crazy). I was entertained by watching the girls talk about how ridiculous the moms were acting as well as watching them create dances for each other. They truly are creative and artistic. In the midst of dancing throughout the house, I noticed there was no arguing, no fighting, just peace. Everyone getting along and everyone having a blast!

You know what the best part was? We were together. We were home in our pj’s. We were goofy and it was perfect. We were perfectly crazy and making memories that would last a lifetime.

So friends – those of you sitting on your couch or at your desk wondering how you can make memories with your family. There are many ways and neither is right or wrong. I can plan the perfect vacation for you and your family away from the every day hustle and bustle OR chances are – you are making some pretty amazing memories already in your perfect crazy. Either way, just stop and live each moment to the fullest with your friends and loved ones.

Until next time friends!
